McKeon's Adventure

A lifelong dream to spend time touring the mid-west to visit many of our great natural resources became a reality in August of 2005 when I bought a used 2002 Winnebago Adventurer motor home.

It's 33 feet long with two expandable sides, an ice maker in the fridge (I've never had an ice maker). Central air and heat, a large comforable bed and couch that will sleep two adults each. With two queensize beds, a recliner and a dinnete it can sleep 5 or 6 people.

Gets lousy gas mileage and can tow a vehicle, but currently carrying my bicycle on the rear ladder. I need the exercise and a fishing pole is on my shopping list.

I am looking forward to visiting campgrounds in Illinois and the mid-west with my to two rescued greyhounds, Hillary and Squiggy. If I have an overflow crowd I have a 9' by 9' dome tent with an inflatable fullsize bed. Maybe next year I will get a vehicle I can tow along for those siteseeing trips and occaisional errands.
